Emily Wiegel

She considers Barre Burn as the adult version of her ballet class from childhood. The addition of light weights adds a sense of accomplishment. As time goes on and your muscles build and tone, being able to pick up heavier weights is the ultimate confidence boost.

Emily seeks tough workouts in her own movement practices and uses that as her framework when creating her classes. She wants everyone to experience the self-empowerment that comes after leaning into the burn and shakes, making it through to the stretch. The “mind over matter” moments, when we think we can’t physically do something, then we give it a try and realize we are stronger than our mind led us to believe. Those are the feelings she hopes women will experience in her classes, no matter where they are on their fitness or life journey.

Entrepreneurial Designer (graphics, art and interiors); Women’s Ministry Leader and Real Estate Agent. Practiced and performed ballet for 23 years along with modern and jazz dance training as well.

Emily is a multi-skilled woman on her own journey to a well balanced life. She loves to learn new things and has a passion for discovering what brings her joy. She is diligent, dedicated, honest and loyal to her friends, family and clients. Emily got back into Barre classes when a health situation dictated that she make changes to her fitness routine. Once she discovered it had all of what she loved in ballet classes growing up, there was no turning back. As she learns new things that positively impact her emotional, mental and physical health she enjoys sharing with others and seeing them benefit and improve from what she’s learning.

Bridgette Valentine

Bridgette Valentine

Yoga was introduced to Bridgette in a pop-up gym class in High School; the start of a life transformation. With curiosity, Bridgette continued her yoga journey, studying philosophies and practicing at various studios throughout Chicago. Through yoga and meditation, Bridgette was able to safely reflect on past traumas and recondition old habits. She found yoga to be highly essential for her overall health, including pain management.

Practicing yoga became life changing which lead Bridgette to eventually end her career in entertainment, and pursue a life of healing. She obtained her yoga teacher certification with Zen Yoga Garage, in Bucktown Chicago, Winter of 2022.  Bridgette class style is Vinyasa yoga, which includes deep meditation, breathe work and fun transitions. Other than teaching adult yoga, Bridgette teaches yoga to young children with Buddha Belly Yoga.  When Bridgette is not teaching, she’s playing with her baby boy, traveling and exploring the outdoors.  Bridgette continues her journey with an open mind and an open heart to cultivate, connect and assist for the better good of the world.
